How do I get started?

You can register using either our website or mobile application.Once registered you will receive a unique customer identification number to track all your transactions (payments and correspondence).

Registering is simple and you are not required to save your banking details with Tranzfar.

How do I send money?

1. We recommend you start by checking the exchange rate being offered on our website and mobile application.

2. Next, enter your customer receiver details and also the amount of money you wish to send to your receiver.

3. You will then be informed of the total amount to be sent to Tranzfar (including any fees).

4. Once confirmed select ‘complete transaction’ and Tranzfar will send you its bank account details for you to send your transfer and also a payment reference to track your transfer.

You can save our account details for future use and Tranzfar will never save yours.

Please note that cash payments will not be accepted and all money must be sent from an FCA registered UK bank account.

How do I track the money I have sent?

Tranzfar will send you two email confirmations.

The first email confirmation will be sent once you confirm your receiver details and money to be sent.

You will receive the second email once Tranzfar confirms that the money has been sent to your receiver.

How does my recipient receive money?

All recipients will receive your transferred money directly into their bank accounts only. They will be informed of the name and account details of the sender.

What is the Maximum and Minimum amount of money that can be transferred?

The minimum transaction amount is £10. Customers can transfer up to £60,000 in a month.

How do I track the money I have sent?

Tranzfar will send you two email confirmations. One confirmation for when you confirm your quote and payment details; the second confirmation for when it is confirmed as sent to your receiver’s account.

How long does it take for money to be sent?

Our guarantee is for money to take no longer than 24 hours to be sent. Tranzfar will aim for your transaction to be sent within the hour of which the funds were initially transferred when sent within working hours.

Please note that money sent on the weekend and on public holidays are not subject to this guarantee, due to limited banking service within Nigeria during these periods.

What countries can I send money to?

Tranzfar will only permit the transfer of money being sent to Nigerian bank accounts.

What countries can I send money from?

Tranzfar will currently only permit the transfer of money being sent from UK bank accounts.

What are the transfer fees to send money?

New customers will be offered a series of generous discounts upon registration.

Once your discount period ends Tranzfar will offer a fixed fee to be published on a daily basis.

What exchange rates are offered?

Tranzfar will endeavour to offer the best market rate at any given time.

As it launches, Tranzfar promises rates that are higher than other major providers are offering. These rates are also better than informal money transfer boutiques.
